Free Download: Inspirational Quotes
I love a good quote. In college, I had a quote wall where my roommate and I would add motivational or inspirational quotes throughout the year to get us through tough times. They weren’t particularly fancy—we just hand wrote them on colorful pieces of card stock scrap paper.
I figured I couldn’t be the only one needing some motivation after (13?) weeks inside, so I designed these three quotes as a free download. The designs themselves are just black and white, but if you want something more exciting, you can decorate the letters with colored pencils like I did, or print them on colored paper!
They’re available for download at the bottom of this post. In addition to the printable .pdf files, you’ll also see .png files. These have blank backgrounds in case you want to get crafty on Canva and put together a desktop or phone background screen.
1) Georgia O’Keeffe is my favorite artist. I’ve always been drawn to her giant floral paintings and aesthetic, and this quote makes me love her even more.
2) This quote by Nelson Mandela is a good reminder for every day. I once heard that fear establishes our limits: we avoid what we are afraid of to stay comfortable. This quote challenges us to make choices based on our hopes instead.
3) And finally, a quote to remind us to not take life too seriously, but also say bye to the haters. This is a quote from Steve Carell’s character in Dinner For Schmucks which we just watched this weekend. Hilarious!
